Potatoes are a great all-purpose product that can be used to make many different tasty and satisfying dishes. Potatoes will make a great filling for pies, dumplings, and samplers.

Cook Olha Matvii shared a recipe for delicious potato cutlets on her YouTube channel, which you can prepare very simply and quickly (to watch the video, scroll to the end).

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes – 6-7 pcs
  • Butter – 50 g
  • Egg – 1 pc
  • Flour – 2 tbsp
  • Breadcrumbs – 100 g

Gravies:

  • Mushrooms – 400 g
  • Parsley – 2 sprigs
  • Bay leaf – 2 pcs
  • Peppercorns – 2-3 pcs
  • Salt, pepper – to taste
  • Onion – 2 pcs
  • Oil – 30 ml
  • Butter – 30 g
  • Sour cream 20-25% – 350 g

1. Peel and cut the potatoes into slices, and boil them together with parsley.

2. Chop the mushrooms and two onions, fry in a frying pan until golden brown, then add the butter and simmer.

3. In a separate bowl, combine the cream and sour cream, mix, add the squeezed garlic, salt, and mix well again.

4. Pour this sauce over the mushrooms and onions, stir, and simmer again.

5. Mash the potatoes, add the butter and flour, and mix.

6. Form patties by hand, roll in breadcrumbs, and fry in vegetable oil.

7. Pour the finished cutlets with mushroom sauce and serve.
