Universal marinade for champignons: the dish can be eaten the next day
Mushrooms don't just taste great in soups or pastas. They can also be prepared as a delicious appetizer and a separate dish. If you know how to marinate them properly, you can serve them the very next day.
Food blogger marichka_cooking shared a recipe for a delicious marinade for champignons. It was posted on Instagram.
You will need the following ingredients:
- Champignons - 300 g
- Parsley - 1 bunch
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp.
- Sugar - 1.5 tsp.
- Salt - 1/2 tsp.
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp.
- Zest - 1/2 lemon
- Garlic - 1 clove
Liquid for cooking:
- Water - 2 liters
- Citric acid - 1 tsp.
- Salt - a pinch
Method of preparation:
1. Dissolve salt and citric acid in water.
2. Pour the mushrooms, put on fire, and cook for 20 minutes.
3. Grind the remaining ingredients with a knife or a blender.
4. Rinse the mushrooms with cold water and let them drain.
5. Put the mushrooms in a jar, pour the marinade over them, and leave them in the refrigerator overnight.
