Cutlets are a familiar and favorite dish for many people, and every housewife has cooked them at least once in her life. To make them tasty and soft, many people add extra ingredients to the minced meat, which results in exactly the opposite: the cutlets become tough.

The FoodOboz editorial team has gathered information and will tell you what two ingredients you should never add to cutlets.

Eggs

Mostly, eggs are added to cutlets by the older generation as it is a common way of cooking for them. However, it is recommended to replace this ingredient with bread, pre-soaked in water. It makes the cutlets not only softer but also more juicy.

Milk

Many people are convinced that milk is perhaps the most important ingredient in cutlets, making them flavorful and tender. However, milk and meat are not compatible in terms of taste. Therefore, as mentioned in the first point, it is better to soak bread in plain water. If you still want to make the cutlets special, add a little butter.
