Tuna steak with asparagus for a perfect dinner according to the brand chef's recipe
If you want delicious fish for dinner, choose tuna. It goes well with vegetables and can be salted, baked, or fried.
Uldrik Pleasant, the brand chef of the MARIO restaurant, shared a recipe for the most delicious and lightest dish for dinner – tuna steak with asparagus, which you can prepare in 20 minutes (to watch the video, scroll to the end)
Ingredients:
- tuna fillet - 180 g
- fresh asparagus - 80 g
- lemon - 20 g
- olive oil - 10 g
- strawberry jelly - 10 g
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- butter - 100 g
- beetroot - 3 slices
- salt, pepper - to taste
- celery puree - 50 g
- garlic - 1 clove.
Method of preparation:
1. Fry the tuna fillets on each side for 1 minute.
2. Boil the asparagus and place in ice water.
3. Make hollandaise sauce: separate the yolks from the whites, add butter, salt, pepper, lemon juice to the yolks and send to a water bath, stir constantly.
4. Cut the cooked asparagus into small pieces.
5. Make several slices of beetroot slices.
6. Put the tuna fillet on a plate with asparagus, beets, and strawberry jelly, season with hollandaise sauce, and you're ready to serve a delicious meal.
