Torn Chicken Mayonnaise Salad: how to prepare the dish in a new way
Chicken fillet is a frequent guest in salads, making the dishes even more satisfying and nutritious. One of these salads is the interestingly named Torn Chicken salad. Its peculiarity is that the chicken fillet is not cut in the usual way, but torn into fibers. The dish is perfectly complemented by egg pancakes - a unique and spicy taste is guaranteed.
Food blogger Tania Sheremet (tania_sheremet) shared a recipe for a salad with an interesting name "Torn Chicken" on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet - 500 g
- mushrooms - 300 g
- eggs - 3 pcs
- onion - 1 pc
- parsley - 20 g
- garlic - 3 cloves
- mayonnaise - 200 g + 2 tbsp for pancakes
- pepper, salt
- sunflower oil
Method of preparation:
1. Boil the fillet.
2. Cut the mushrooms and fry until the liquid evaporates.
3. Add the oil, chopped onion, salt and pepper to the mushrooms. Fry until tender.
4. For pancakes, beat eggs with mayonnaise, salt and pepper. Fry thin pancakes.
5. Divide the fillet into fibers. Mix with mushrooms.
6. Cut the pancakes into strips. Add to the salad.
7. Chop the parsley and add to the salad.
8. Mix mayonnaise with chopped garlic. Season the salad.
