- Pour into a saucepan, add sugar, salt, pepper, and oregano, and cook until tender, add vinegar, and stir.
- Pour the finished ketchup into sterile jars and preserve, turning them upside down.
- Be sure to wrap them in a warm towel when they are completely cool – transfer them to a cool, dark place.
