Tomato carpaccio is one of the most delicious summer appetizers, best prepared with cheese, greens, and spices. Add basil, mango, and caper sauce for a spicy and bright flavor.

The chef shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious tomato carpaccio with basil, capers, and cheese.

Ingredients:

  • Large tomatoes - 1 pc.

Sauce:

  • Basil 1 sprig
  • Anchovies in oil 3 pcs
  • Capers 3-4 pcs
  • Lemon zest
  • Red onion 1/2 pc
  • Lemon juice 1 tsp
  • Tobasco a few drops
  • Olive oil 4 tbsp

Additional ingredients:

  • Ricotta (feta cheese) 50 g

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the tomatoes into thin slices, put them on a plate greased with olive oil.

2. Chop all the ingredients for the sauce.

3. Put the tomatoes on the dish, pour the sauce and sprinkle with grated cheese!
