Tomato and anchovy carpaccio: how to make a gourmet appetizer without meat

Carpaccio is an appetizer made of thinly sliced meat slices. It is seasoned with vinegar and oil. But while the tomato season is in full swing, you can use these juicy vegetables. They go well with anchovies.

The idea of cooking tomato carpaccio was published on the Instagram page of cook Olena Moskovchenko (moskovchenkoalena). Also add green basil.

Ingredients:

  • tomato - 1 pc.
  • anchovies - 100 g
  • sun-dried tomatoes - 2 pcs.
  • green basil - 2 sprigs
  • olive oil
  • lime

Method of preparation:

1. Chop the sun-dried tomatoes and basil.

2. Drizzle oil over a wide plate.

3. Put basil and sun-dried tomatoes on it.

4. Slice the fresh tomato as thinly as possible.

5. Put it on top.

6. Add more oil and add the anchovies.

7. Garnish with lime zest.
