Tiramisu, but not tiramisu: the most delicate airy cake that is easy to prepare
Tiramisu is one of the most popular desserts in the world. This dessert is loved for its lightness and tenderness, as well as for its delicious chocolate aftertaste.
In addition to the original tiramisu recipe, there are also quite a few interpretations of it, so that every housewife can choose the one that is easiest to prepare and tastes best. One of these recipes was shared on Instagram by a food blogger with the nickname vilich_food_blog.
Ingredients for one cake (you will need two cakes to make tiramisu according to this recipe)
- Eggs – 4 pcs
- Sugar – 100 grams
- Flour – 110 gr
- Baking powder – 2 g
Ingredients for the cream
- Cream cheese – 650 g
- Cream at least 33% – 300 ml
- Powdered sugar – 100 g
Ingredients for the leveling cream
- Cream cheese – 500 g
- Cream with at least 33% fat content – 50 ml
- Powdered sugar – 50 g
The method of preparation
1. Beat eggs at room temperature with sugar for 7 minutes, or until a fluffy light mass is formed.
2. Add the sifted flour and baking powder in one step.
3. Knead the dough with a spatula in one direction until the flour is completely dispersed.
4. Cover a baking sheet with parchment and transfer the dough to it, smoothing it out.
5. Bake for 12 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
6. When cold, divide each into three equal strips 9 cm wide.
7. Soak each of the strips with strongly sweet brewed coffee.
8. Proceed to the preparation of the cream. Whip cold cream with powdered sugar until light peaks form.
9. Add the chilled cottage cheese and beat until smooth.
10. Spread and smooth on each strip of cake.
11. To prepare the smoothing cream, simply beat all the ingredients for 2-3 minutes.
12. Assemble the cake as shown in the photo.
