Pancakes, like cottage cheese pancakes, are one of the best breakfasts – delicious, hearty, and extremely easy to prepare. My grandmother always made them high, very soft and fluffy. But now not every housewife can achieve such a result – not everyone knows what the secret is.
Food blogger Elena (elenashooo) shared the recipe and secrets of making high pancakes on her Instagram page.
Three main secrets of successful pancakes:
- The base for pancakes – kefir – should be heated before cooking.
- Leave the finished dough to rest for 10 minutes.
- Put the finished pancakes in a deep bowl and cover them with a plastic bag to prevent them from "falling off".
Ingredients:
- kefir - 250 ml
- eggs - 1 pc
- salt pinch sugar - 1 tbsp.
- vanilla sugar
- flour - 1 tbsp.
- baking powder - 1 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Mix eggs, sugar and salt.
2. Pour warm kefir. Stir to mix.
3. Add flour and knead a thick dough.
4. Add the baking powder. Stir to combine. Leave the dough for 10 minutes.
5. Fry the pancakes.
