Thin pancakes that do not tear – what is the secret
Ideal pancakes are elastic, golden, even, and thin. Many people have difficulty making this dish. The reasons are various: the wrong sequence of ingredients, the wrong frying pan, and too much or too little for one pancake. But everything is quite simple – you just need to follow a few rules.
Today, FoodOboz editorial team shares tips that will help you make tender and delicious pancakes of perfect consistency.
Secrets that will help you cook high-quality pancakes
1. To make pancakes even and lump-free, mix the ingredients in the correct order: sift the flour, mix the eggs, sugar, and milk. Gradually pour the resulting liquid into the flour.
2. To fry pancakes, choose the right utensils. A cast-iron frying pan with an even coating is best to ensure that all the oil is well-heated and the dish remains intact.
3. If you add yeast to the dough, a beautiful lace will form on the pancakes.
4. The temperature of all the ingredients should be about the same – room temperature, so they will be easy enough to combine and no lumps will form.
5. Ordinary salt will give the pancakes a beautiful color and elasticity. You only need to add a pinch of it.
How to pour the pancake batter into the pan:
- Pour a small amount of the mass into the center.
- Spread in a circular motion over the entire surface at a fast pace.
- The batter should completely cover the pan.
