Thin and tasty crepes: how and what to make the perfect dough
To ensure that homemade crepes do not tear and are thin and tasty, the dough should be cooked with warm milk. If you want them to be fluffy, make the dough with yeast.
The chef shared a recipe on Instagram for delicious, thin, and flavorful homemade pancakes made with yeast.
Ingredients:
- Milk - 250 g
- Water - 250 g
- Sugar - 2 tbsp
- Dry yeast - 8 g.
- Chicken eggs - 2 pcs.
- Salt - 0.5 tsp
- Flour - 190 g
- Oil - 50 g
Method of preparation:
1. Mix milk, water and sugar. The mixture can be heated in the microwave for 30 seconds to make it warm. Add the yeast, mix and let stand for 15 minutes.
2. Beat the eggs with the salt and add to the first mixture, mix and add the flour, stirring it thoroughly to avoid lumps, and then pour in the oil. Cover the dough with a towel and leave it in a warm place to triple in size (about 40 minutes).
3. Fry the pancakes over medium heat.
