Ingredients:
- Black currants - 1 kg
- Sugar - 700 g
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the currants, put in a large bowl in which you will cook the jam, a layer of berries.
2. Sprinkle sugar on top.
3. Then add another layer of berries and sugar again. Leave the berries for 2 hours to let them juice well.
4. Put it on the fire, bring to a boil, stir with a wooden spoon, and cook for another 7 minutes after boiling. Be sure to skim off the foam.
5. Pour the hot jam into sterile jars and preserve.
