Thick strawberry five minute jam : without boiling and thickeners
The strawberry season has begun. They can be added to baked goods and desserts, as well as prepared for the winter: frozen, ground with sugar and made into delicious homemade jam.
FoodOboz has selected a simple and delicious recipe for strawberry jam in its own juice that doesn't require any boiling.
Ingredients:
- strawberries
- sugar
The ratio of berries to sugar is: 1 kg/250 g.
Method of preparation:
1. First, prepare the strawberries, namely, clean them from the tails and wash them.
2. Cover the prepared berries with sugar and leave them for 8-10 hours at room temperature. Stir the strawberries from time to time.
3. After the allotted time has elapsed, put the berries in jars and pour out the juice.
4. Cover each jar with a lid and sterilize for 10 minutes.
5. Twist the sterilized jars of strawberries, turn them upside down, and cover them with something warm. Leave it in this form until it cools completely.
6. The finished jam can be stored in the refrigerator.
