Thick grape jam for the winter without thickeners and seeds

In addition to homemade flavored wine, grapes can be used to make thick jam. There are only two main ingredients: grapes and sugar (and your good mood). This is a very interestion preparation for the winter, which has a wonderful color and impresses with its unique taste.

Food blogger Tatiana (grenache_rose) shared a recipe for grape jam on her Instagram page.

Ingredients:

  • grapes - 1 kg
  • sugar - 600 g
  • star anise (optional)

Method of preparation:

1. First, you need to prepare the grapes for cooking, namely, wash and remove twigs.

2. After that, put the grapes in a saucepan, put on the fire and cook over low heat for 20-25 minutes. At the end, it is advisable to crush the grapes a little so that they release more juice.

3. At this stage, rub the grapes through a sieve.

4. Mix the resulting mass with sugar. Put on the fire and cook until it thickens.

5. Pour the hot jam into sterile jars.
