Thick currant jam with sugar for the winter: how to make it right

Homemade jam and preserves can be made from any berries, but currants, raspberries, and strawberries are the most delicious. Cooks advise to remove the foam from the jam during cooking!
The cook shared a recipe on Instagram for a very thick and delicious currant jam that cooks very quickly.
Ingredients:
- 3 cups of water
- 6 cups of currants
- 9 cups of sugar
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the berries, put them in a bowl, cover with sugar, add water, and mix.
2. Boil the jam until it comes to a boil and after boiling for another 7 minutes.
3. Sterilize the jars and lids.
4. Pour the hot jam into jars and roll up and cool.
