Jam mix is a win-win option for preserving berries for the winter. This is because it is based on three types of berries: raspberries, blueberries and jostaberries. The berry jam is very tasty, flavorful and has a pleasant color. Also, it has a rather thick consistency even without gelatin.

Food blogger Lilia (lileklilek2) shared a recipe for berry jam mix with raspberries, jostaberries, and blueberries on her Instagram page.

Ingredients:

  • raspberries - 1 kg
  • blueberries - 1 kg
  • jostaberries - 1 kg
  • sugar - 3 kg (1:1 ratio)

Method of preparation:

1. Wash the berries, sort them out and drain.

2. Pour the berries into a saucepan and add 2 kg of sugar. Put on the fire and stir constantly to dissolve the sugar. Bring the jam to a boil and then remove from the heat. Cool.

3. After cooling, put the jam on the fire and bring it to a boil again.

4. Turn off the stove. Add 1 kg of sugar and stir the jam well for 5 minutes.

5. Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars and close with lids hermetically. Turn upside down until cool.
