Thick apricot jam without seeds: what ingredient will make the dessert perfect
Jam from apricots is very tasty, fragrant and bright. It can be prepared with or without pips, whole or even cut up. Also perfectly complement the dessert with a variety of nuts, in particular almonds.
Foodblogger Lilia(lileklilek2) on her Instagram page shared a recipe for apricot jam with almonds.
Ingredients:
- apricots
- sugar
- citric acid
- almonds
Method of preparation:
1. Remove the pips from the apricots.
2. Fill apricot halves with sugar in a ratio of 1:1. Leave for 6-8 hours.
3. After - bring the apricots to a boil and cool completely. Do this two times.
4. The third time you need to take out the apricots and evaporate the syrup on high heat for 15-20 minutes.
5. Next, add the apricots to the syrup again, also add 1\2 tsp. citric acid and peeled almonds. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
6. Pour the jam into sterilized jars and cover with lids.
