Thick and tasty cherry jam for the winter: what you need to add when cooking

Recipe for cherry jam

Cherry jam can be made with sugar and even honey. You can also add other berries, such as currants, for a bright flavor.

The cook shared a recipe on Instagram for a delicious, thick and flavorful cherry jam that is very easy to make.

Ingredients:

  • 500 gr fresh or frozen cherries
  • 170 grams of sugar
  • 1 tbsp with the top of the starch
  • 40 ml of cold water

Method of preparation:

1. Pour sugar over the cherries, put on low heat and bring to a boil.

2. Pour the starch into cold water, stir until smooth and when the cherries boil, pour in the mixture, stir constantly and cook until thick.

Then remove from the heat and preserve!
