These dumplings are tastier than boiled: how to cook your favorite dish in an unusual way

Dumplings – a dish that can be useful

Few people don't love hot boiled dumplings with a piece of butter. Especially if they are homemade. But this product can be prepared in other interpretations. For example, fried or even baked. New and interesting flavors are definitely worth preparing such dishes.

Traditional serving of dumplings

Ingredients:

  • butter - 50 g
  • dumplings - 40 pcs.
  • dill - a small bunch
  • garlic - 3-4 cloves
  • Greek yogurt - 200 ml
  • ketchup - 0.5 tsp.
  • soy sauce - 1 tbsp
  • black pepper
  • chicken broth - 200 ml

Method of preparation:

1. Heat a frying pan with oil, and add the dumplings.

2. Fry on both sides for 2-3 minutes on each side over medium heat.

3. Pour in the broth, bring to a boil, and reduce the heat to a minimum.

4. Cover and cook.

Fried dumplings with cheese

1. Finely chop the dill.

2. Add yogurt, ketchup, soy sauce, ground pepper, and garlic.

3. Mix thoroughly.

4. Put the dumplings on a plate, add plenty of sauce, and sprinkle with dill.

Ingredients:

  • dumplings - 400 g
  • sour cream - 100 g
  • hard cheese - 100 g
  • mayonnaise - 2 tbsp
  • salt - a pinch
  • oil for frying

Method of preparation:

1. Put the frozen dumplings on a preheated frying pan with vegetable oil.

2. Fry the dumplings on both sides until golden brown over medium heat for 7 minutes, let cool.

3. In a separate bowl, mix sour cream and mayonnaise, add salt, and stir.

4. Grate the cheese. Add most of it to the sour cream and mayonnaise mixture, and mix.

5. Pour the cheese and sour cream mixture over the dumplings.

6. Mix gently.

7. Put into baking dishes.

8. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese, and put in a preheated oven.

9. Bake the dumplings with sour cream and cheese in the oven at 200 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
