But this is complete nonsense. After all, you don't need to have any special culinary skills to cook meatballs: everything is prepared easily and from affordable ingredients.

Meatballs in a creamy sauce

Ingredients:

  • Minced meat - 300-400 g
  • Boiled bulgur - 150 g
  • Onion -1 pc
  • Carrot - 1 pc
  • Salt, pepper, and Italian herbs

For the sauce:

  • Water - 180 ml
  • Cream - 50 ml
  • Sour cream - 50 ml
  • Tomato sauce - 1 tbsp. 

Method of preparation:

  1. Coarsely chop the onion and put it in a frying pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix the minced meat with salt, pepper, and Italian spices.
  3. Add bulgur to the minced meat. Stir to combine.
  4. Grate the carrots. Add it to the onion.
  5. Add one part of the roast to the minced meat. Leave the other part for the sauce.
  6. At this stage, you need to prepare the sauce. Add water, salt, cream, and sour cream to the onions and carrots. Add the tomato sauce.
  7. Form meatballs and put them in the pan. Fry for about 25 minutes.

Secrets of meatballs

  • It is recommended to cook meatballs from fresh and lean meat. This makes them especially tasty.
  • To enhance the flavor, you can add fresh vegetables, which will add juiciness and make the meatballs a little fluffy.
  • To help the meatballs hold their shape, you can add an egg or a little flour.
  • Instead of tomato paste, it is recommended to use ordinary fresh tomatoes, which are pre-peeled and diced.
