Incredibly soft, fluffy, tender, and fragrant – they can instantly cheer you up and fill you with a sense of true happiness.

Sinabons are a relatively recent phenomenon, dating back to 1985 when a man and his son, both from the United States, decided to create the most delicious bun in the world. To do this, they engaged a culinary expert who had been looking for the best option and recipe for them for a long time. And in the end, of course, he found it.
Today, all housewives have their own unique recipe for cinnabons and add a variety of ingredients to make the buns extra fluffy. One of them is potatoes, which can be found in every home.
To make cinnabons, we need the following ingredients:
- Butter - 250 g (125 g softened for the dough and 125 g melted for the filling)
- Potatoes - 1 pc
- Milk - 250 g
- Dry yeast - 25 g
- Sugar - 100 g
- Eggs - 1 pc
- Flour - 420 g
For the filling:
- Brown sugar - 110 g
- Ground cinnamon - 2 tsp
- Sea salt - 1 tsp
For the glaze:
- Cream cheese - 110 g
- Sugar - 100 g
- Milk - 50 ml
Method of preparation:
- Boil the potatoes. Turn it into mashed potatoes. Cool it down.
- For the dough, heat the milk. Add the yeast and leave for 5 minutes.
- Add butter, sugar, potatoes, flour and salt. Knead the dough. Cover with cling film and leave in a warm place for 1 hour.
- For the filling, mix all the necessary ingredients in a bowl.
- Put the finished dough on a hard surface and roll it out. Spread it evenly with melted butter. Sprinkle with the sugar mixture. Form the roll and put it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Cut the roll into pieces. Put them on a pre-buttered baking sheet.
- Bake for 35 minutes at 180 degrees.
- For the glaze, whisk all the ingredients. Spread it on the finished buns and let them cool.
