If you don't know what to cook for breakfast so that it's tasty, filling, and quick, crepes with different fillings may be the best option. But it's best to eat them in the morning with dairy products, such as cottage cheese, to which you can add berries, honey, and seasonal fruits.

TV presenter Valentyna Khamaiko shared a recipe for delicious crepes with cottage cheese in orange sauce for a hearty and perfect breakfast, which is very easy to prepare and will become your favorite.

How to make delicious crepes at home

Ingredients for the dough:

  • flour – 8-9 tbsp
  • milk – 500 ml
  • eggs – 2 pcs
  • honey – 1 tbsp
  • butter – 45 g
  • vegetable oil – 45-50 ml
  • vanilla sugar – 5 g

The filling:

  • cottage cheese – 300-400 g
  • sugar – 2-3 tbsp
  • sour cream – 2 tbsp.
  • vanilla – 10 g

Sauce:

  • orange – 2 pcs
  • sugar – 2 tbsp
  • butter – 50 g
  • orange zest – 1-2 tsp

Method of preparation:

  1. First of all, melt the butter.
  2. Pour the milk into a bowl, add the eggs, melted butter, oil, honey, and vanilla, and beat everything thoroughly with a mixer or whisk.
  3. Sift the flour beforehand, and add it to the milk mixture, continuing to beat everything so that the dough is liquid and lump-free. Be sure to let it stand for 10 minutes.
  4. Fry the pancakes in a non-stick frying pan until cooked.
  5. Filling: mix cottage cheese and sugar, add sour cream, and vanilla sugar, and whisk thoroughly in a blender until a paste. Spread the pancakes.
  6. Make fresh juice from the orange.
  7. Orange sauce: melt butter in a frying pan, add sugar, stir until sugar is completely dissolved, add orange juice and zest, and mix well.
  8. Pour a little orange sauce on the bottom of a ceramic baking dish, put the finished pancakes in the dish, pour more sauce on top, cover the dish with foil and put it in the oven, bake until done.
