The perfect gravy for any side dish in 30 minutes: here's what to use
Gravy is the perfect complement to all dishes, making them taste completely different and satisfying. It can be made from mushrooms and cream, as well as from fillets, onions, vegetables, cheese, and spices.
Cook Victoria shared a recipe for a delicious gravy with sour cream, chicken, onions, and carrots on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet - 2 pcs.
- onion - 1 pc.
- carrots - 2 pcs.
- flour - 2 tbsp.
- sour cream - 4 tbsp.
- water - 1 cup
- salt, pepper - to taste
- sweet paprika - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the carrots into cubes and dice the onion. Pour oil into a saucepan and fry the carrots and onions for about 10 minutes.
2. Cut the fillets and fry in vegetable oil in a separate pan until golden and soft, then simmer.
3. In a separate bowl, dilute the sour cream in 1 cup of water, stir and add the flour, mix to make the filling homogeneous.
4. When the meat is well stewed, transfer it to a saucepan with carrots and onions, stir, and pour the sauce over everything, pepper, salt, paprika and mix well. Simmer for another 30 minutes.
Serve with all the garnishes!
