Nutritionists have named the most harmful and most useful ways to cook eggs, reports Еatthis.
1. Using butter
If you fry your eggs in butter, you may be neutralizing some of the health benefits. Using saturated fats during cooking adds a significant amount of calories to the dish, as well as unhealthy fats that are associated with the risk of cardiovascular disease.
2. High temperatures
Cooking at high temperatures acidifies the oil, so eating them can cause inflammation in the body.
3. Not being careful with oil
Coconut oil is fine, but only if it is refined and cold-pressed. And most importantly, it can be used for frying, but only at low temperatures. At the same time, the dishes will have a more pronounced flavor and taste.
How to cook eggs without harming your body:
- A healthy alternative to cooking eggs with minimal fat or using unsaturated fats is olive or avocado oil. Hard-boiling or poached eggs are ways to cook eggs without added fat.
