Easter cake icing can be made from egg white, sour cream, and chocolate. But it is very important to remember that it will be perfect in consistency only when you add gelatin to the base.

The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for a very successful icing for Easter cakes, which is made from gelatin and water.

Ingredients:

  • 15 g gelatin + 90 ml water
  • 300 g sugar + 90 ml water

Method of preparation:

1. Pour gelatin with cold water and leave to swell.

2. Combine the water and sugar, bring to a boil, boil for 1 minute, pour over the gelatin, and stir.

3. Beat with a mixer until thick and 4 times the volume.

Once the mass becomes airy, white and thick, it's ready. Quickly decorate the cakes with the icing, sprinkle with decorations and leave to dry overnight.
