The most successful dough for dumplings is considered to be custard. It is easy to work with, soft and does not fall apart. It is also easy to prepare: you don't even have to add eggs, milk or yeast.
One of the culinary blogs (love_cooking_007) published a recipe for a successful custard dough for dumplings on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- flour - 500 g
- eggs - 2 pcs
- boiled water - 200 ml
- salt - 0.5 tsp.
- vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Sift flour and mix with salt.
2. Add oil and water. Start kneading the dough first with a spatula or spoon and then with your hands. It should be elastic and soft.
3. Afterwards, you can immediately make dumplings or wrap the dough in plastic film or a bag and leave it to rest for 30 minutes. The dough can also be frozen.
