Deep-fried food always tastes delicious, but there are also disadvantages – it is very fatty due to the large amount of oil it is cooked in. It's definitely okay to eat it, but not to abuse it every day.

Today, FoodOboz editorial team shares recipes for the most popular and delicious deep-fried dishes that you can easily prepare at home.

1. Deep-fried broccoli

Ingredients:

  • Broccoli - 500 g
  • Eggs - 2 pcs.
  • Flour - 3-4 tbsp
  • Hard cheese - 100 g
  • Salt, pepper - to taste
  • Oil - 1 cup

Method of preparation:

  1. For the batter: in a blender, beat the flour, salt, pepper, and eggs until smooth.
  2. Pour sunflower oil into the deep fryer and heat well.
  3. Divide the broccoli into florets and dip each piece in the batter, immediately transfer to the oil and fry until tender.

2. Deep-fried chicken wings

Ingredients:

  • Chicken wings - 1 kg
  • Eggs - 3-4 pcs.
  • Flour - 250 g
  • Salt - 2 tbsp.
  • Ground black pepper - 0.5 tsp.

Method of preparation:

  1. Wash the wings under running water.
  2. In a bowl, beat the eggs well with salt, pour the flour into another bowl, and add the pepper, and mix.
  3. Take the wings and bread them first in flour, then dip them in eggs and flour again.
  4. Pour oil into the deep fryer, heat it up, and fry the wings well for about 5-10 minutes.
  5. Be sure to put them on a paper towel to drain the excess fat.

3. Shrimp tempura

Ingredients.

  • Sunflower oil - depending on the capacity of the fryer
  • Eggs - 1-2 pcs.
  • Shrimps - 400-500 g
  • Milk or sour cream - 2-3 tbsp
  • Wheat flour - 1/3 cup
  • Salt and pepper - to taste
  • Breadcrumbs - a handful

Method of preparation:

  1. Wash the shrimp in cold water, then season them well with salt and pepper and mix.
  2. Break an egg into a bowl, add milk or sour cream, flour, and mix everything.
  3. First, dip the shrimp in the egg mixture, then in the breadcrumbs, and then put them in a deep fryer with hot oil and fry until cooked.
  4. Be sure to put them on a paper towel afterward.
