The most delicious plum pie: how to make a fluffy dough
A fluffy plum cake is perfect for cozy family tea parties. It's the season for such fruits, so the pastries will be very juicy. And the dough is simple – no yeast is needed.
The idea of making a fluffy plum pie was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Ilona with the nickname thefoodhub.by ilona. It will be delicious if sprinkled with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
Ingredients:
- sugar - 140 g
- butter - 115 g
- flour - 160 g
- baking powder - 1 tsp.
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- salt - a pinch
- cinnamon - 1 tsp.
- plums - 4-6 pcs.
Method of preparation:
1. Grind the soft butter well with 110 g of sugar.
2. Add salt and eggs.
3. Beat everything well with a whisk until the mixture is homogeneous.
4. Sift the flour and baking powder and mix well – you should get a thick dough.
5. Put the dough into a greased mold, and add the plum halves over the entire surface.
6. In a separate bowl, mix 30 g of sugar and cinnamon.
7. Sprinkle generously over the cake.
8. Put in a preheated 180-degree oven for 40-45 minutes.
9. When the cake has cooled slightly, you can take it out of the mold and cut it into portions.
