Liver pate is one of the most delicious and simple bread spreads that can be easily prepared at home in just 20 minutes.
Culinary expert Yevhen Klopotenko shared a recipe on Instagram for a delicious liver pate with salted lemons that you can easily make at home.
Ingredients:
- chicken liver – 400 g
- cognac – 50 ml
- cream cheese – 150 g
- onion – 1 pc
- butter – 30 g
- lemon – 1 pc
- thyme – a sprig
- salt, pepper – to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Chop the onion and fry until golden brown in butter, season with salt and pepper, and add thyme.
2. Throw the liver in and pour in the cognac, cook until the liver is tender.
3. Afterwards, be sure to remove the thyme, put the liver in a blender, add the cheese, and blend until smooth.
4. Chop the lemon very finely, and add salt.
5. The finished pate can be stored in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
