Herring spreads are very convenient because they can be eaten with bread, croutons, or crackers. They are so tasty and satisfying that they can sometimes replace even the main meal. The ingredients in these spreads can be combined to your liking, making them quite versatile.

Ingredients:
- herring – 1 pc
- boiled eggs – 3 pcs
- processed cheese – 3 pcs
- garlic – 2 cloves
- butter – 50 g
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- herbs (dill, green onions)
Method of preparation:
1. Peel the herring, eggs, and garlic.
2. Grind herring, eggs, and cheese through a meat grinder, alternating fish/egg/cheese. If you want the consistency to be buttery, you can beat it with a blender.
3. Add chopped greens, lemon juice, squeezed garlic, and room-temperature oil to the resulting mass. Mix well. You can also add salt and pepper.
4. Put the spread in a container and refrigerate for 1 hour.
5. Serve with toasted or fresh bread for breakfast or a snack.
