The most delicious dough for thin homemade pizza: made with milk

To make homemade pizza thin and not like a pie, the dough should be made with milk. You can easily knead an elastic base that will roll out effortlessly. All you have to do is put on the delicious filling.

The idea of making a thin homemade pizza with milk is published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yuliia Mykulych (yuliia_mikulich). You can use dry yeast.

Ingredients for two round pizzas with a diameter of 32 centimeters:

  • milk – 120 g
  • sugar – 1.5 tsp
  • dry yeast – 2 tsp
  • oil – 3 tbsp
  • eggs – 1 pc
  • salt – a pinch
  • flour – 270 g +-

Method of preparation:

1. Heat the milk until warm.

2. Dissolve sugar in warm milk, add yeast, and mix.

3. Cover the milk with the yeast and set aside for 10-15 minutes. A "cap" should form on the surface, which means that the yeast is active and you can work with it further.

4. Add the egg and oil to the active yeast and mix thoroughly with a whisk.

5. Start adding flour in parts.

6. While the dough is still liquid, mix it with a whisk in a container.

7. When the dough comes together into a sticky ball, transfer it to a floured work surface. Continue kneading, adding flour a little at a time. You should get a soft, pleasant, elastic dough. Knead it for about 7 minutes. You may need a little more or less flour.

8. Put the dough in a suitable container, cover, and place in a warm place. The dough should rise 2-3 times.

9. Knead the dough a little and divide it into 2 parts.

10. Sprinkle parchment paper with flour, roll out the dough on it, and transfer it to a baking sheet.

11. Spread the dough with tomato sauce. Put the filling and cheese.

12. Bake the pizza at 200 degrees for 12 minutes. The time depends on your oven and the thickness of the pizza.
