Cinnabons are delicious and very sweet buns that are the most popular in the world. They are made with various fillings and additives, such as icing, cream, chocolate, berries, and caramel.
On his YouTube channel, chef Yevhen Klopotenko shared a recipe for the most successful and delicious cinnabons with cream icing, which are perfect for tea ( to watch the video, scroll to the end ).
Ingredients:
For the dough:
- 450-500 g of flour
- 200 ml of milk
- 1 tbsp of sugar
- 25 g of live yeast (pressed)
- 100 g of butter
- ½ tsp salt
For the filling:
- 100 g butter (+ for greasing the mold)
- 100-150 g of brown sugar (cane sugar)
- 1-2 tbsp of ground cinnamon
For the glaze:
- 250 g of cream cheese
- 1-2 tbsp of lemon juice
- 2 tbsp of powdered sugar
Method of preparation:
1. Sift the flour and add the yeast, sugar, salt, mix and add the butter.
2. Pour in the warm milk and mix until the dough becomes elastic.
3. Gather the finished dough into a ball, put it in a bowl, cover it with plastic wrap and leave it for 1 hour.
4. Then roll out the dough and brush with butter.
5. Mix the cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle over the dough.
6. Then roll the dough into a roll and cut it into 6-7 equal pieces with a kitchen string.
7. Grease a baking dish with butter and place the cinnabons 1-2 cm apart.
8. Be sure to cover with a clean towel and leave for 20-30 minutes to let them rise.
9. Then put them in a preheated oven to 180 C and bake for 30 minutes.
10. Frosting: mix cream cheese with powdered sugar and lemon juice, mix until smooth, and spread over the finished but cold cinnabons.
