Homemade pancakes can be made with milk, sour cream, kefir, and even mineral water. However, cooks advise making the batte for pancakes with warm kefir, adding baking soda to flour.
The cook shared a recipe for very fluffy, tasty and light kefir pancakes on Instagram.
The secret to successful pancakes is warm kefir and quality flour!
Ingredients:
- 500 ml of kefir
- egg
- 1-1.5 tbsp of sugar
- 1/3 tsp of salt
- 0.5 tsp of baking soda
- 350 g of flour
Method of preparation:
1. Pour room temperature kefir into a bowl and add egg, sugar, and salt. Mix everything thoroughly with a whisk. Then add sifted flour, stir a little and then add baking soda on top (add the baking soda together with the flour, not before). Mix the batter thoroughly with a whisk.
2. Leave for 20-30 minutes.
3. Heat the vegetable oil well over low to medium heat, spoon the batter, add Nutella and top with the batter. Fry on both sides until cooked. Do not cover with a lid!
