Who doesn't like delicious, flavorful burgers with juicy meat and a fluffy bun, good sauce, but if you cook them at home, and even on the grill, you will get a very tasty, natural dish.

On her YouTube channel, Masters Chef judge and culinary expert Tetiana Lytvynova shared a recipe for an amazingly delicious grilled burger and explained how to choose the right meat, make good dough, and assemble the burger correctly.

1. How to choose meat and prepare minced meat for cutlets

It is best to take fresh veal or beef, as well as some lard. The meat can be chopped with a knife or simply passed through a meat grinder, only through a large mesh.

Juicy burger patties

Ingredients:

  • veal – 800 g
  • lard – 200 g
  • coriander – a pinch
  • salt, pepper – a pinch
  • any spices to your taste
  • tomatoes – 1 pc.
  • sweet pepper – 1 pc.
  • lettuce leaves – 50 g
  • pickled cucumbers – 1 pc.
  • cheddar cheese – 100 g
  • fried bacon – 50 g
  • mustard – 30 g
  • ketchup – 30 g
  • ready-made buns – 5 pcs.
You can buy rolls or make them yourself

Method of preparation:

  1. Chop the meat or pass it through a meat grinder, sprinkle it generously with seasonings, knead it like dough, and then beat it to make it elastic.
  2. Take the parchment, cut it into medium-sized pieces, lay out a molding ring, carefully place the minced meat in it, cover with another sheet of parchment, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  3. Fry the grid well, so that you can throw dry thyme on the coals – this will give a special flavor to the cutlets during frying, do not grease the grid with anything, put the cooled cutlets and send them to the grill, fry for about 3 minutes on each side.
  4. Cut tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers into rings, make straws out of the fried bacon, and wash the lettuce leaves.
  5. The bun needs to be steamed to make it soft, just put it in a sieve, then in a saucepan, and put it on the coals for 30 seconds. Afterward, cut it open and put it on a grid for a few seconds to brown it.
  6. To assemble the burger: put cheese on the hot patty, spread the bottom of the bun generously with ketchup, put lettuce leaves, and top with the patty with melted cheese, tomatoes, bacon, mustard, pickles, and the top bun.

You can also make a burger without a bun by replacing it with lettuce.
