The fastest way to cook pork: you will need a multicooker
Pork meat is quite tough and fatty. Therefore, it takes a lot of time to make it really soft and tender. But it really depends on what kind of cookware you choose. In the case of pork, a multicooker is best.
The idea of cooking delicious pork in a multicooker was shared by the American publication INSIDER.
The main ingredients:
- pork shoulder without bone
- medium onions, cut into pieces - 2 pcs.
- dark beer or chicken broth - 1.5 cups
- unfiltered apple cider vinegar - ½ cup
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tbsp.
Spices for the coating:
- salt - 2 tbsp.
- brown sugar - 2 tbsp.
- sweet paprika - 2 tbsp.
- chili powder - 1 tbsp.
- smoked paprika - 1 tbsp.
- mustard powder - 2 tsp.
- garlic powder - 2 tsp.
- onion powder - 2 tsp.
- cornstarch - 1 tsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Mix all the spices.
2. Dry the pork and rub in the meat with spices evenly on all sides. Set aside the leftovers for later use.
3. Cut the meat into smaller pieces if necessary.
4. Put in a multicooker and cook in the sauté mode until lightly browned.
5. Remove the meat.
6. Put the onion on the bottom and sprinkle with the remaining spices.
7. Add beer, vinegar and sauce.
8. Carefully place the meat in the pan, fat side up. Use a fork to do this.
9. Cover with a lid and cook until soft.
10. Disassemble the pork into fibers, removing all cartilage and excess fat.
11. Strain the cooking liquid.
12. Remove as much fat as possible with a spoon.
13. Pour fat-free liquid over the meat to moisten it.
14. Serve warm or let cool and then freeze.
