The easiest and most delicious apple galette
Apple galette is perhaps the easiest apple pie to make. Without any hassle with the dough and in just a few minutes, you will get a very flavorful dessert with a juicy filling that just melts in your mouth.
Food blogger Alina (alinka.food_) shared a recipe for apple galette on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- flour - 200 g
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil - 80 ml
- hot water - 80 ml
- sugar - 2 tbsp
- apples - 4 pcs
- salt - a pinch
Method of preparation:
1. Cut out the core of the apples and cut the fruit into thin strips.
2. Mix all dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
3. Add vegetable oil and water. Knead a soft dough.
4. Roll out the dough (not too thin) and put it on a baking sheet covered with parchment.
5. Spread the apples tightly, not reaching the sides. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
6. Roll up the sides of the dough to the middle.
7. Bake until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
