This is a special type of salting mackerel. It would seem that the usual ingredients are used for cooking, but the peculiarity lies in the technology itself. This recipe makes the fish very flavorful and spicy.
The recipe for salted mackerel was shared by food blogger Denys Tymchuk (kulynarist) on his Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- mackerel - 1 pc
- salt - 1 tbsp
- sugar - 1 tbsp
- black pepper - 0.5 tsp
- dill - 1 bunch
- garlic - 2-3 cloves
- oil
Method of preparation:
1. Clean the fish from the insides and bones. Wipe the fillet with a paper towel.
2. Mix salt, sugar, and pepper. Sprinkle the mixture over the fillets.
3. Beat garlic, dill and oil in a blender.
4. Put the resulting mass on one half of the fillet. Cover with the other half.
5. Wrap in cling film. Put in the refrigerator for 12 hours and then in the freezer for a day.
