Sauce is a very important ingredient in many dishes, which can make, for example, pizza very juicy and soft, and it is difficult to imagine a barbecue without it. Of course, everyone can choose any sauce to their liking, but the best thing is to make it yourself, so you can be sure of its safety.
Today, FoodOboz editorial team shares a recipe for a universal sauce that is perfect for many dishes and can be prepared in 10 minutes.
"Sauce in the pan"
The essence of this sauce is that it should be cooked in the same pan where the meat was cooked.
Ingredients:
- Olive oil - 4 tbsp.
- Medium onion - 1 pc.
- Chopped garlic - 3 cloves.
- Flour - 3 tbsp.
- Bay leaf - 1 pc.
- Chicken or vegetable broth - 3 cups
- Butter - 1.5 tsp.
- White wine - 1/2 cup
Method of preparation:
- After frying the meat, add olive oil to a hot frying pan, reduce the heat and stir, add flour and chopped garlic.
- Pour oil into the second pan, add chopped onion, stir and fry well and transfer to the first pan.
- Mix everything well and add the broth, wine and stir, cover and cook for another 5 minutes.
- At the very end, add the melted butter and spices.
