Zucchini stew is a dish familiar to everyone since childhood. It is not only tasty and tender, but also quite budget-friendly. It's also quick to prepare and requires no special skills.

A food blogger with the nickname anny.cooking shared how to make zucchini stew on Instagram. She also added that the highlight of this dish is the delicious cream sauce.

Ingredients

  • zucchini - 1 pc
  • onion - ½ pc
  • pepper - ½ pc
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • large tomatoes - 2 pcs
  • medium carrots - 1 pc
  • salt - ½ tsp
  • pepper - ½ tsp
  • oregano - ½ tsp
  • allspice - a few peas
  • bay leaf - a few peas
  • 33% cream - 200 ml
  • milk - 100 ml

Method of preparation

1. Cut the zucchini into half rings. Cut pepper, onion, garlic and tomato into small cubes. Grate the carrots on a medium grater.

2. Fry the zucchini in a dry pan until golden brown.

3. Melt butter and fry all the vegetables except the tomatoes in the pan for 5 minutes.

4. Add tomatoes and zucchini. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5. Add salt, spices, cream and milk. Heat it up and serve.
