Tender liver pate that does not taste bitter: a popular blogger shares her recipe
Homemade liver pate is an extremely tasty, healthy, and fairly budget-friendly appetizer that can be combined with toast or sandwiches. It's easy to make, but housewives are often put off by the bitter taste of liver. But this can be easily avoided by knowing how to properly prepare the liver for cooking.
The recipe for tender liver pate was shared by popular journalist and blogger Alina Shamanska on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- chicken liver
- butter
- milk
- cream
- onion
- garlic
Additionally:
- bay leaves
- allspice
Method of preparation:
1. Pour milk over the liver and leave for 30 minutes.
2. Chop the onion and garlic. Fry with butter.
3. Add the liver to the vegetables. Pour over the cream. Simmer for 10 minutes.
4. Blend the cooked liver with a blender until smooth.
5. Put the paste into plates. Pour the oil in which the liver was fried on top.
6. Garnish with all spices and bay leaves if desired.
