Tender chicken pate: better than any spread
Traditional pate is usually made from liver. But before cooking, you need to remove the unpleasant odor and excessive bitterness from it. Therefore, to save time, you can use regular chicken fillet. This pate will be better than any spread.
The idea of making chicken fillet paste was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Alex Mil (mil_alexx).
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet - 400 g
- onion - 100 g
- carrots - 1 pc (up to 100 g)
- garlic - 1-2 cloves
- cream cheese or butter - 70 g
- salt - a pinch
- oil for frying
- bread for serving
Method of preparation:
1. Boil the chicken fillet.
2. Fry the onion in oil for 3 minutes.
3. Add grated carrots and garlic, and fry for another 5 minutes, stirring.
4. Put the fillet, onions, and carrots in a blender, add salt, and cream cheese, and whisk everything into a homogeneous mass.
5. Serve with toasted or grilled bread.
