Tender and lush potato palyushki: what ingredient to add to the dough
Palyushki is a hearty dish of Ukrainian cuisine, the basis of which is mashed potatoes. In terms of appearance and method of preparation they resemble lazy dumplings, but in order to make potato palyushki tender and puffy, it is advised to add one simple ingredient to the dough - starch.

Ingredients:
- potatoes - 8 pcs
- eggs - 2 pcs
- flour - 3 tbsp.
- starch - 3 tbsp.
- salt, pepper
Preparation method:
1. Boil potatoes in salted water, mashed potato and cool to room temperature.
2. Then add eggs, flour, starch and spices to the potatoes. Knead the dough.
3. Divide the ready dough into 4 parts and form 4 sausages, cut them into pieces as for lazy dumplings.
4. Cook the palyushki in salted water from the boiling point for 1 minute.
5. Serve with fried onions and sour cream.
