Tastier than soup: easy prefabricated solyanka for a quick lunch
Solyanka is a rich and tasty soup traditionally made with various smoked meats, fresh and pickled vegetables, mushrooms, sausage, and olives.
A recipe for a light solyanka with smoked meats, vegetables, and pickled cucumbers was posted on Instagram by one of the cooking blogs(vistovska_cooking).
Ingredients:
- meat (smoked meats)
- potatoes
- pickled cucumbers
- carrots
- onions
- olives
- tomato sauce
- salt, pepper
- lemon
Method of preparation:
1. Dice the potatoes and put them in a saucepan. Cover with water and bring to a boil.
2. Chop the onion and dice the carrots. Fry the onion until transparent, then add the carrots and fry for a few more minutes.
3. Dice the cucumbers and add to the vegetables, add the tomato sauce and simmer for a few minutes. Add the roast to the finished broth.
4. Cut all the smoked meats into cubes and fry in a frying pan until golden brown. Add to the broth. Cook until tender.
5. At the end, chop and add the olives. The hodgepodge is ready!
