Tastier than pasties: lazy pies with cottage cheese and herbs for a snack in 15 minutes
Pies are an ideal option for a quick and tasty snack. Moreover, they do not have to be made from yeast dough; the base can be made with water, kefir, or even milk. In this case, it is better to fry the pies in a pan.
One of the blogs about sports and nutrition (fasting_marafon) published a recipe on Instagram for delicious pies with cottage cheese and herbs, which look like pasties and take only 15 minutes to cook.
Ingredients:
- flour - 200-220 g
- boiling water - 120 g
- vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.
- salt - 1/3 tsp.
- sugar - 1/3 tsp.
- butter for pancakes - 30-50 g
The filling:
- cottage cheese 5-9% - 300 g
- hard cheese - 150 g
- butter - 30 g
- salt, herbs
Method of preparation:
1. To make the dough, add salt, sugar and oil to boiling water. Stir everything until smooth.
2. Pour the resulting liquid into the flour and knead the dough. Leave the dough to stand for a while.
3. Meanwhile, mix all the ingredients for the filling.
4. Divide the finished dough into 6 parts, roll each of them into a small circle.
5. Put the filling on one half of the circle, cover with the other half of the dough. Secure the sides.
6. Fry the pies on a dry frying pan on both sides.
7. Grease the finished pies with butter. It's ready!
