Tastier than Mimosa: a budget-friendly and easy salad in 15 minutes with fillet, apple and hard cheese
Salad is always a good option for a delicious dish for every day and for a festive table. It is best to make them with seasonal vegetables, but if you want a more substantial version of the dish, add chicken, boiled eggs, fish, seafood, and cheese.
Cook Julia shared a recipe on Instagram for a delicious chicken salad with apple, hard cheese, and prunes.
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet - 100 g
- apple - 1-2 pcs.
- hard cheese - 80 g
- dried prunes - 50 g
- walnuts - 30 g
- garlic - 3 cloves.
- salt, pepper, mayonnaise - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Boil and cut the chicken fillet into cubes.
2. Cut prunes, dice apples, grate cheese. Chop the nuts.
3. Assemble the salad in layers: the first layer is boiled and chopped chicken, salted and peppered, squeezed garlic and some chopped nuts. Make a mesh of mayonnaise on top. The second layer is a peeled and diced apple, a grid of mayonnaise. Third - prunes and a few chopped nuts on top, again a grid of mayonnaise. Sprinkle with grated cheese, garnish with herbs, prunes or nuts.
