Tastier than meat: easy mackerel kebab in 15 minutes for dinner
Mackerel is a delicious, budget-friendly and healthy fish that can be cooked in the oven and on the grill. It can also be salted and used to make salads and spreads.
The chef shared a recipe for a delicious mackerel kebab on Instagram, which is very quick to prepare.
Ingredients:
- Mackerel - 2 pcs.
- Spices: paprika, garlic, onion, tomato, turmeric, pepper, oregano, basil
- Sunflower oil 50 ml
Tar-tar sauce:
- Turkish yogurt 10%.
- Mayonnaise
- Fresh mint
- Parsley
- Cucumber
- Lemon zest
Method of preparation:
1. Clean the mackerel and cut into portions.
2. Add spices and oil and mix gently. Do not add salt, because mackerel is salty by itself. Marinate the fish for 1-3 hours.
3. Put the fish on a skewer and cook for about 15-20 minutes.
Pour the lemon juice over the cooked fish and serve with the sauce.
