Tastier than fried: baked new potatoes in bacon with cheese and garlic
New potatoes can be cooked directly in their skins, as they are very thin. Add butter, bacon, cheese, spices, and herbs for a brighter flavor.
The cook shared a recipe for delicious new potatoes cooked in bacon and cheese on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- potatoes
- bacon
- butter
- salt, pepper to taste
- dried garlic
- cheese
Method of preparation:
1. Boil the potatoes in their skins and peel them.
2. Drizzle with olive oil, add salt, pepper, dried garlic and stir.
3. Wrap each one in bacon, place on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes at 200 C until golden brown.
Sprinkle with cheese if desired and put in the oven for another 5-10 minutes!
