Tastier than chops: baked eggplant in French, with cheese and tomatoes

Eggplants can be used to make delicious and healthy caviar, as well as babaganoush, a roll-like snack with various fillings. You can also simply bake them in the oven and on the grill, make kebabs and warm salads.

The cook shared a recipe for delicious eggplant with grated cheese, tomatoes, and mayonnaise on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggplants
  • 2 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. granulated garlic
  • salt
  • hard cheese
  • tomatoes
  • mayonnaise

Method of preparation:

1. Add pepper, garlic, paprika and salt to olive oil.

2. Cut the eggplant into slices.

3. Spread each slice with the sauce, put slices of fresh tomatoes on top, sprinkle with grated cheese and make a mayonnaise net on each slice.

4. Bake for 20 minutes at 180 C.
