Tastier than a casserole: brownies with cherries and poppy seeds according to the most elementary recipe

One of the most delicious and easy-to-make desserts is chocolate brownies. The basis of this treat is always chocolate dough, and you can also add fresh berries, nuts, and even spices to it, for example, in summer to spice it up.

Culinary expert Yevhen Klopotenko has shared a recipe for a delicious brownie with cherries, which will give the dessert a special flavor and aroma.

Ingredients:

• cherries - 200 g

• butter - 150 g
• wheat flour - 100 g

• dark chocolate - 220 g
• eggs - 5 pcs.

• poppy seeds - 3 tbsp. 

• cocoa - 1 tbsp
• sugar - 150 g

• zest of 1 lemon
• baking powder - 1 tsp.

• Salt - 1/4 tsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Turn on the oven to 180°C.

2. Be sure to make a steam bath. Put the chocolate in the top bowl and add the butter, mix and bring the mixture to homogeneity.

3. In another bowl, beat 5 eggs, add 150 g of sugar and salt. Mix everything well with a whisk until combined, but do not beat too much.

4. Grate the zest and add the mixture, mix well.

5. Pour the melted chocolate and butter mixture into the egg mixture and mix well.

6. Add the wheat flour, cocoa and baking powder and mix well.

7. Add poppy seeds and cherries to this mixture and mix well.

8. Cover the pan with parchment, pour the batter, put it in a preheated oven and bake the brownies for 30-35 minutes at 180 C.
